One of our first major clients, Hitch Finder has looked to Figaro Interactive to provide high tech solutions in the traditionally low-tech aftermarket automotive industry. The competitive advantage that we’ve provided Hitch Finder has transformed and grown their business, allowing them to branch out into new products while reducing time to market for new properties.

One of the biggest challenges initially presented by Hitch Finder was managing multiple websites, all with different pricing and products, through the same interface. To accomplish the task we turned to Adobe FLEX to create a simple to use yet very powerful user interface.

The largest site in Hitch Finder’s portfolio, we built the frame work with SEO in mind. Features include an AJAX vehicle lookup system, a custom search algorithm and an indepth cross sell and packaging system. The site is integrated with Google Checkout, Paypal, Authorize.net, StoneEdge and UPS. Custom analytics allow Hitch Finder to track and optimize their sales. The relaunch of this site not only increased revenue but also reduced advertising costs and revealed user trends that Hitch Finder has capitalized on, increasing their conversion rate.

Custom trailer sales is big business and when the opportunity presented itself for Hitch Finder to jump into the trailer business they looked to Figaro Interactive to provide an online solution that would set them apart from their already established competition. The challenge in the custom trailer biz is the word “custom”; every possible option, from cross-bars to generators, can be added to the different makes and models. Utilizing an AJAX interface, Trailers Direct allows users to configure the exact trailer they want without all of the confusion normally associated with so many complex relationships. The custom administration system supports the in-house sales staff by providing them with real time data that opens up opportunities for up-sells and cross-sells while talking to a client about their quote.
