Kilroy Show Pilot is Finished

The post production process for the pilot is finally finished. Several weeks of editing, mixing and color grading went into the project and the talents of everyone involved really shine through.

The project involved a ton of data – almost 9 terabytes of video and audio. The concert portions were covered using Panasonic AJ-HPX3000′s shooting AVC-Intra100 while the interviews were shot using a combination of Sony EX3′s and EX1′s for a total of ten high definition cameras.

All of the footage was first transcoded into ProRes422 and then edited in Final Cut Pro. Grading was handled in Color and Magic Bullet Looks.

The music mix was produced by the legend himself, Eddie Kilroy, at Rosewood Studios in Tyler, TX. Rosewood is an outstanding facility and the owner, Greg, did a great job fitting our short turnaround in.

We mastered the project to HDCam SR and created a Sizzle Reel to include in our promotional Blu-ray and DVD packets.
